Melaka and Kiasunism

*warning* long crappy post

if you are a kiasu people, do not visit Malacca
no i don't mean Singaporean, coz i think many Malaysian already surrendered themselves into kiasunism

Why I Am saying this?

on a weekend in July 2008, i visited Malacca for the very first time in my life! (yah, no lies)
so when you visits malacca, you surely not gonna waste your time visiting those shopping complex,rite?
definitely is to visit places that only available in Malacca...


so basically what you'll be doing is walk,walk snaps
walk walk walk here n there, snaps snaps snaps
heck, there is even a street specially designed for you to walk
and i am a certified Jonker Walker*self-proclaimed*

well, since there's many peoples that visits to Malacca at once(esp during weekends), every bunch/group came well prepared with the cameras

*the ganas! gang that visited Malacca with their big guns*
25mm, 15mm, wide lens,10MP, 8MP, 7MP , u name it!

and we a group of four poor students went there with 4.0MP SE* camera phone feels very the tiny when standing amongst the group of big guns
* 4.0MP = 2.0MP k750i + 2.0MP w800 ..... 2.0 +2.0= 4.0,rite?? xD

even the banglas using a better camera phone than ours and camwhored in front of us

initially, we felt so downgraded that whenever we were posing and snaps
we did go "kanneh, cheap phone, paiseh lehhh"
(this is why i say kiasu ppl not suitable to visit Malacca)

but after a while, i was thinking, heck, why must we feel ashamed?
they own big camera, their business la!
y must i go care and consider the strangers that make no significant in my life??
*not talking abt the ganas! gang, they are not strangers*

soon, we start to take more pictures

and i when say more, it means alots!!
lol (but im not gonna show it here as who wanna c 4 mah lat lou posing la?)


1 thing i like about Malacca is the food,
this time round, i only get to taste the cendol and satay celup
nice leh!

chicken rice ball was waaaaaay too packed for us to barge in
and the nyonya corner is too far away from our parking place and we were too stingy to pay for 2nd time parking lazy to find for a parking lot as we are going to come back to the same place :D
too bad lor

and 1 thing i hate about Malacca is this

it costs me RM10 for 7 minutes to be up there!
that's 1.45rpm*!!!!!!
*rpm - Ringgit Per Minute, haha

there you go, my 1st visit to the Historical Town of Malaysia
a visit that I didn't enter any museum at all, keke
I will go back for another visit if the main purpose is for the food, but still Penang food is da best!
