Toothbrushing

Some of the people brush the teeth only ONCE in a day ...

I think its because of During the early stage of the schooling days, we were taught that it is essential to brush your teeth every morning... there is even a song that sings

"bangun pagi, gosok gigi ..."

and it only emphasize on the morning, and not really care about the toothbrushing during the night.. there is no "sebelum tidur, gosok gigi" song.lol

4 ( out of 8 ) people in the house of mine during the university days, does not brush their teeth before going to sleep.. and that's 50%...

the debate here is not about whether you should brush your teeth once / twice / thrice / quatrice / pentatrice / hexaxice in a day!

the discussion now is,
If you brush your teeth only ONCE in a day, which is more important/significant? the morning one? or the night one?

*This was actually a discussion with gf when she was still in Msia*

it is well known fact that bacteria attacks more powderfully when you are sleeping,
its because during night, the surrounding is better for them (temperature,humidity etc) and you don't move much movements comparing to the days


so, scenario 1
--brush at morning, neglecting the night--

you wake up, you brushes teeth
teeth is well-protected
then u makaaannnnnnnn~~~!
stains and leftover sticks to the teeth...
so, level of protection reduces
then comes lunchie, hi-tea, dinner, supper, late supper, mcD oreo mcflurry etc
then u str8 away go sleep,

current status : open invitation to the bacteria "comeeeee attack my teeth as you like"

now lets revert the situation scenario 2; which is very much not the practice

--brush at night, skipping the morning--

before sleep, you brushes your teeth...
your teeth is much much better protected than the 1st scenario
bacteria tries to attack your teeth but only to end up in the mouth are,
you wake up,skipping the toothbrushing,
then you makannnnnnnn (Alongside with the bacteria alll also you swallow) xD

status : bad breath hence letting other people laughing at for not brushing your teeth

so this is what my wise gf word
" y brush the morning 1 when the night one is more important/significant?"

so, if your current practice is the scenario 1's case...
i suggest you to revert to scenario 2 and bite some mouth refreshing chewing gum during the day... its better this way than your current practice ...


p/s : brush your teeth laaa BOTH before and after your sleep ... it only takes you less than 2 minutes
