2014 As it was - Part 1

The last update was October 2012. For the past 26 months, this blogspot stayed dormant, due to my laziness lack of inspiration to write something or anything.

While reading Cheesetal's post on her summary of 2014, it suddenly kicks to me that I could write one of the same of my own too! Whether I will continue writing or not that's another story, let's see how it goes.

The year started with this view.

Yeah, having to spend the New Year Eve with a bunch of awesome people from Klang, counting down to 2014 at a tower in the heart of KL, singing emo songs, eating Wong ah Wah chicken wings at 3am, getting drunk all jolly is something that one just gotta be grateful with.

Fast forward to Chinese New Year, in which will be the 2nd last CNY I'm celebrating while I am 20s, I decided to do something secretly thought of doing it.

Dye my hair.

This is how Leang looks like in brown hair,

Mind you, for the first time in a long long time, I got requested to verify for my IC upon entering Sky Bar!
I don't get checked to enter Genting Casino even when I was 19 yo!

While myself is aware of my aging, I am not worried.
The people around me however, is worried.
Deep inside, I thought my mom remotely hired people as special match making agents.
I keep getting invitations to meet up with so-and-so candidates, but I turned down politely.

There was an incident where my colleagues arranged for a Treasure Hunt session and pulled me in to be part of their team.
However, there is a hidden intention behind it. They convinced a newly joined young colleague from another department to join the team as well hoping something can bloom out of it.  The girl however, ffk last minute but the hunting goes on.

Perhaps I was being single for too long, I forgotten how is it feels like to have another person in my life. Until comes one fine evening, the colleagues introduced me to this girl, JT.
Finally after so long, I found a person that can cause to get out from comfort zone.

The problem is, JT is so damn fine that she is outta my league. But it didn't stop me.
It started with facebook chat, to whatsapps, to frequent dinner, movies and we both started to show each other what's our world like.
I get to know her interest, her besties, her house, her past, her present moment, her everything!

At one point, the people surrounding us thought we already "ON".
It's no surprise if they had such thought because we basically hanging out with just the two of us almost everyday.

Like a shooting star passing by, the magic crept past us without both of us realizing how the spark gone off.

Wong Fu's video says there are 7 stages before we become strangers, again.
Well, it was just 3.

Meeting, chasing and downhill.

As bitter as it may sound, I am actually grateful of the whole ordeal.

I get to know more about myself and how myself evolved since the last actual relationship I had.
Stop here for now.

-Signing off-
