Tortoise Bread

My housemate brought it from his hometown, Ipoh
The name is "wu guai bao" (direct translate : Tortoise Bread )

See?? very tortoise look-alike,
However, I don't understand what's the need of making it into tortoise shape
**credits to the bread maker for that**
You Know Why?

We have to peel off the outer "skin" and only eat the inner side.
The outer "skin" is being dumped

When comes to eating, we just take the white part.
The "Kuai Head" together with outer "skin" , say GoodBye~!

So, what's the point of making the "kuai head" when you don't need it in the first place?

p/s : In Penang/Butterworth, they sell it as "mi ku" ( dunno what they call in English) and it tastes exactly the same!

p/p/s : Emily-Zhiap says its "ang-koo" and Willazz says it "mi-ku" , so, it's either one of it la
=p
