Want and Need

can you list you what the items that u Need?
and distinguish out the item that you WANT?

I went to eat at a food court at Raja Uda the other night .
Then, my mom saw a familiar face,
The fruit seller.
She used to live in a double-storey house but due to misfortune and unfortunate stuff happened to her and her family, now she gotta struggle everyday of her life by selling fresh fruits at the food court.
Previously she can purchase all those acessories within the snap of her hand .
She used to wear those nice and shining shirt/blouse/dress all the time .
but now...
I made a self calculation ,
she sold a small packet of fruit(what i bought was pineapple) for RM1 each.
I assuming her profit is RM0.50 (which is the max profit already)
and she gotta cover the rent for her that stall which is RM9 per day .
IT MEANS she gotta sell 18packets JUST ENOUGH to cover her rent,
not to count her daily REQUIRED expenses such as household, food, and daily stuff .
What's more saddening is her husband is ill at home due to stroke (medication fee??)
Her only son, left the family behind (i dunno the reason)
That means the stall is the only income for her family
where her daily income is merely enough to cover the stuff that she NEEDS,
let alone to buy the stuff that she WANTS.
i used to wish that i can buy myself a camera,
and sometimes grunted on the unfairness where other parents can buy their son one, whereas i gotta work it on my own to get one
but i just realized, that it is only an item that i WANT
i should be thankful that i am provided the stuff that i NEED
and yes i am

Truth is, we all live truly luxurious lives, handphone, computer, highspeed internet, digital camera, label branded clothing, good food instead of just bread and water, eating out even, big bed, nice shoes... you get what I mean rite? We should all be very thankful for all the extras we have.
bell : yeah, but in recent days, many mistreat those stuff as the stuffs that they need even tho it is just a stuff that they want, sighs
