Of NewYear09 Countdown in Malacca

as i mentioned on early last year, it is not a public holiday for the Johor state on 1st Jan.
and i had the experience of attending classes on 1st Jan
which turns out to be a boring thing...

In order to have a countdown and fireworks, we have to get the hell out from Johor and the nearest happening spot from Batu Pahat is Malacca.
Therefore, we decided to go all the way there and screw the classes.
It's the first week anyway, lalalala

The major difference from the previous trip to Malacca is that this time round we got a camera!
Yeay* we are no longer same level with the banglas! LoL

So, what we did was snap, snap, snap, and snap :D


Rrom the "red-house" church to Famosa's entrance and we just keep on unleashing the camwhoric behaviour that was kept hidden.. haha

I'll have a seperate post on the food that we conquered on the day:D

Then comes the night aka main event
i was told that the fireworks will be held at Padang Mahkota but the fellow Malaccan friend brought us to the Jetty~~
so to the Jetty we went!!
after reaching there, i was told that instead of watching the fireworks underneath them, we will be watching it from afar
kinda potong stim for me, ackshually as i was preparing to watch it heads up!

however, the view was nice. It is at the far end of the Jetty

and apart from that, we get to watch multiple fireworks from multiple place

its like .... wooo! fireworks!
" eh, havent new year la... their time faster leh ..nvm, Happy New Year"

then when that area ends, another fireworks from another spot appears!

"woohoo... another one, Happy New Year again"*cheers*
and before you can bottoms up ur bottle of heineken,
"ehhh... another one,wei!! Happy New Year again(again)"
and that repeated about 5 times so we indirectly celebrated 08-->09 moment for 5 times!
BEAT THAT! :D

The downfall is that, the place (Beer Garden) does not organize an event 4 countdown.
No one is shouting 10,9,8,7 coz the 1st firework pops out of nowhere and every1 seems to forgot about it...
Not much picture though, as our skills of night-shooting is practically Fails! haha

Anyhow, I enjoyed the whole trip and the new year celebration in Malacca(my first and probly my last) and also the last time as a student

Pacific Bowl at Batu Pahat Mall

this is just a show-off pic! scroll down if u dun like :P this is kinda outdated, Pacific Bowl at BatuPahat Mall It is the latest attraction and the only attraction i would visit that mall... It is kinda dead, even tho just opened less than half a year... Even Carrefour Batu Pahat is more lively than this Mall well, just like every other bowling alley this bowling have bowling lane, a simple computer-alike thingy 2 organize ur player, bowling balls, rented bowling shoes, bowling pins etc the bowling shoes design damn nice,rite?? partly because it is new, no ppl vandalise it yet oh ya, the photo i curik from my universities junior (pretty wan oo) but hay, don't look down on this bowling alley even tho its located at the deserted place of Batu Pahat check the price!! RM4.80 for 1 game! even the students price requires RM4!! usually student half price wei!! n they dun accept our matrix(university) card, reason : it is only applied on SCHOOL KIDS!(under 21) damn! its just indirect way...
