Toothache
everything was normal on monday night....
nothing out of ordinary until after I brushed my teeth before going to sleep, a tooth located at upper left jaw gave me a pulsating pain...
so pain that I don't really sleep that night
for few hours, i was struggling and fighting against the pain in order to sleep but to no avail.
So, i seek for alternatives to remove/reduce the pain
and i started by rinsing the mouth with Listerine ( alcohol are antiseptic, rite?)

but no.. it fails
so i went online to seek help but at 3-4am, not much people online at msn so i went google search..
i found a site that suggests few home-made remedy for toothache pain, so i tried them out
1 way is to rinse the mouth with warm water added with salt
-->Failed!<-- another way is to cool the affected tooth with cucumber[as cucumber is cool]
but wtf, it actually increases the pain... baaahhh!!
then, another method is to apply ice cube on and around that particular tooth, my house don't have a freezer so i gotta wait for some other people to wake up, luckily Dom..err..Teppei was around to spare me two ice cubes.[thx teppei!]
it actually helps a little which i suspect that the nerves around the tooth are numbed by the ice i.e it reduces the toothache pain, but created a cold numbness around ur mouth that if I were to apply it earlier, I wouldn't get to sleep either..LoL!
nevertheless, the pain is gone ...at least for temporary
right after the 8am class, i went straight to University's Medical Center to seek for help..the dentist says tooth #7 is shaky and there's a hole(decay) in it.. she gave me some antibiotic( some anti shake medicine) and paracetamol ( panadol lah!)and were asked to have soft diet (porridge, oats, breads, tauhu etc) and avoid sweet stuffwhich i can't

[strawberry wafer stick is sweet, don't ya agree?]
i've gotta to wait for 24hrs to the least where the pain is no longer pulsating, and then she gave me a temporary filling ( which i done about 1 and half hour ago)
i remember well what she said
After this treatment, don't eat for 2 hours
then don't eat from the affected side for 24 hours, eat from another side

then, after awhile of her treatment, she changes her statement,
wahh.. your cavity too deep already, kid
give them a break,
don't eat from that side for 3-4 days!
6 weeks later, i've gotta meet the dentist again for permanent filling as today's treatment is just a temporary filling..
maybe bcoz i have too much sweet stuff recently?
i dunno...
but I dont care what the hell is, here is my message
" damn you, cb tooth, go get pain for nothing"
"take good care of your teeth, brush it always :D .
LoL!
